The Music of "Iolanthe" and "Haddon Hall"

Martin Yates,

Chairman of the Sullivan Society and MD of Generally G&S, Retford,

will present an illustrated study of the music of Iolanthe and Haddon Hall.

Martin Yates, chairman of the Sir Arthur Sullivan Society, tonight presents a fascinating study of the music from two of Sullivan's comic operas. "Iolanthe" is well known, but "Haddon Hall" is rarely performed, and tonight's illustrated talk will be an excellent introduction to the piece from an accomplished speaker. This is an event arranged by the Manchester branch of the Gilbert & Sullivan Society and all visitors are welcome to attend.

The Harold Sumner meeting.
